Katt Hoskin (nee Matthews)

Director/ Senior Occupational Therapist

Katt is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist having gained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours from The University of Queensland in 2015. After working in the Private sector for many years, Katt founded LaunchPad Therapy in 2020.

Katt has a passion for working alongside children, young people and families to support their engagement in daily activities. Katt values creative, innovative and evidence-informed therapy that fosters children to reach their potential. She is skilled in working with young people on the Autism Spectrum as well as children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing differences, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Impairment, developmental delays, and many other diagnoses and challenges.

In her early career, Katt volunteered within the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program where she supported people of all abilities to engage in community sporting programs. Katt has also volunteered within schools and orphanages in Cambodia. She worked alongside locals to provide access to education, as well as creating opportunities for young orphans to engage in meaningful activities.

Steffi High

Occupational Therapist

After completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree overseas at York St John University (UK), Steffi embarked on a diverse career path across several hospitals in London, in various areas of OT including: Neurosciences, Stroke, Elderly Care and Orthopaedics. Her journey led her to Australia, where she further enriched her expertise in occupational health and safety, as well as paediatrics.

Steffi is particularly passionate about collaborating with children, young people and families to enhance their daily activities. She values a team-oriented approach to therapy, working closely with primary carers, educators and other allied health professionals involved in a child’s treatment plan to ensure optimal outcomes. Steffi is committed to delivering client-centred, evidence-based interventions that are both effective and meaningful to each individual.

 
 

Occupational Therapy Assistants

Our Occupational Therapy Assistant’s (OTA) work very closely with our Therapist’s and help to put your treatment plan into action. Booking in with an OTA is a great option to work on therapeutic activities with a more accessible price point.
