NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

LaunchPad Therapy welcomes clients with Self Managed and Plan Managed NDIS Plans. If your child currently holds a NDIS Plan, please let your therapist know at the time of making your initial appointment. It is very helpful for your therapist to view your child’s NDIS Plan during your first appointment. If you have not yet applied for a NDIS Plan, please contact the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) to begin the process and schedule a planning meeting. The NDIA can be contacted on 1800 800 110.

Private Health

Your Private Health company may include Occupational Therapy under their Extra’s Cover. To find out whether your current plan covers Occupational Therapy, please contact your health fund.

Medicare Rebates

Enhanced Primary Care/ Chronic Disease/ GP Management Plan

Item Number: 10958

Under this plan, children with complex needs are entitled to five Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year. You will need to gain a referral from your GP in order to access this plan. You will be required to bring the completed referral form to your therapy session in order to claim a rebate.

Helping Children with Autism (HCWA)

This plan entitles children with Autism to 20 rebated treatment sessions. This is a lifetime benefit. You will need to gain a referral from your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist In order to access this plan. Please bring this referral to your therapy session.
